Tech Lab: Mrs. Masters had the students create a Powerpoint presentation. Small groups worked on slides for each planet. In addition, the students created a science fiction story in Kidpix and used Print Shop to create a space photo collage.

Library: Mrs. Pugh had the students
research planets using non-fiction text and World Book Online. They
created research webs that were then used in Tech Lab. Then Mrs. Pugh had the students enter the STARLAB a portable planetarium wonderful and magical world of astronomy |

Music: Mrs. Brinkerhoff taught each
class the Planet Roll Call song and the Solar System Motion.
Students played various instruments
while sing their songs.
Gym: Mr. Keagy played the Space Game and the Orbit game with each class.

Classrooms: Ms. Cusick, Mrs. DeAngelis and Mrs. Goldstein assigned planets and continued researching in their rooms. The children also enjoyed solar system read-alouds by their teachers. | |
