IMPORTANT H1N1 INFORMATION

 

 

Are you going to be absent?

Call In – Parent(s)/Guardian(s) must call Mrs. Conway EVERY DAY that the child is absent at 609.654.9610 Extention 3008

When your child returns to school after an absence, the child must bring a note from home to his/her classroom teacher which includes:

(1) The date.

(2) Reason for absence.

(3) Specific dates of absence.

(4) Signature of parent or guardian.

Any absence of five days requires a doctor's certificate.

 


 

 

How do you when to keep your child home?

 

Here are our district guidelines for when to keep your child home from school:

A fever of 100 degrees or above. Children must be fever free for 24 hours without Tylenol or Motrin to return to school.

Vomiting or diarrhea. Children need to be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school.

A persistent sore throat. Children with strep throat may return to school after they have been on antibiotics for 24 hours.

Red inflamed eyes with discharge. Seek medical attention.

A very runny nose or productive or persistent cough.
