Native Americans

A Third Grade WebQuest
Created by: Jennifer Beine

INTRODUCTION: You will be creating a brand new tribe! You and a partner will be selecting a region of the United States to research. By paying attention to the environment of the region and the homes, food, and other things about the tribes that have already lived there, you will be able to create your own.

TASK:

To find out more about different tribes from your region we need to go on a Web Quest to learn about the differences and similarities between the tribes. As you learn more about these tribes you will decide where you want your fictional tribe to live, what they will eat, what homes they will make , and how they will travel. With all of the information you collect you will design your new tribe and then explain it to us using words and pictures in a Power Point slide show!

PROCESS: Each member of your team will have a different job.
Swift Spirit:  Is responsible for gathering information about Dress, Traditions and Celebrations, and Food and Travel.
Dream Catcher:  Is responsible for gathering information about Ways of Expression, Land Features and Homes, and Community and Jobs.
